Crossing Rebuild at the Shelburne MuseumA two-track crossing on the Shelburne Museum's private spur off the Vermont Railway's ROW (at left behind the section shed) was replaced with the help of YouthBuild, a local job training program for teenagers. The local lumberyard donated the materials. The old rotten wooden timbers were spiked to sleepers buried on top of the ties. In this shot we've got everything torn out...
