Afternoon Pile Shot

Returning to Hermon following an afternoon along the Maine shoreline, a Searsport job from August 1, 2012 was about to jump from Prospect into Frankfort, ME as it skirted the outline of the old Lane Construction gravel pit. Use of true remote units has recently banished RC cabooses from the south end.

Photographed by Jeff Bray, August 1, 2012.
Added to the photo archive by Jeff Bray, August 11, 2012.
Railroad: Montreal, Maine, & Atlantic.
