MECRR Calais Branch Columbia Falls, Maine

This picture is looking west at location of old Columbia Falls, Maine Station. Taken in 2008 approximately 23 years after the last train. Shortly after this picture was taken the rail was removed to make way for a walking trail. The original track was laid about 1899 for the Washington County Railroad which later turned into the Maine Central Railroad.
