Batten Kill's RS-3 #605 happened to be on the opposite end of the southbound train on Thursday June 20. The 4116 and eleven cars are holding just short of the work area at Eagle Bridge NY. As a result, the 605 and its engineer enjoy the view (and breeze) for a while from the middle of the "high bridge" over the Hoosic River before moving into the construction zone.
