You think you had a bad day...

This happened almost three years ago, and not a sight one would see everday. Hard to imagine that the continued cold and the strength of hard packed snow and ice would lead to New England Southern's GP39-2 flipping on its' side in Concord NH. While there were injuries, luckily none were fatal. The 2370 eventually got repaired, repainted, and sold to the Ann Arbor. Right now NEGS keeps several empty hoppers and a flat car to guard the north side of the Merrimack River Railroad bridge in Concord.
