Not to Far....

Not to far from this spot is where the Maine Eastern Train, Maine Rail Group, The 470 Group and NEEPRA Stopped in Augusta, Maine in May 2008. Not much has been happing on these rails since they all was replaced in 2003. However if everything goes right these rails will see trains again in just a few Years or sooner depending on the parking conditions downtown and many upgrades that needs to be done for the line on the right that extends just under the Memorial Bridge and on the other direction crosses many streams and the Androscoggin River before meeting up with the Rockland Branch in Brunswick about 34 Miles away.
