PanAm Southern's symboled AD-1 exits North Bennington Vt. on Monday January 26 with 104 cars. Success at last !!
Some of the outbound cars have been "trapped" in NB for more than a week due to a compounding number of complicating issues. Even this power assigned to "bail out" the collection of cars left East Deerfield yesterday (Sunday) in a "light engine" status to purge the backlog (probably in anticipation of the blockbuster Nor'easter) and only made it westbound as far as Hoosick Junction before tying down.
The VTR (with five engines) arrived with 54 outbound cars just as the giant PAS train left town for the trek via Hoosick Junction.
