A CSX SD70MAC retaining only about half it's nose lettering leads EDRJ's train around the big reverse curves at Rowe and through the old B&M searchlights that bracket the east end of CPF-415, with 42 cars for the CSX interchange at Rotterdam Junction. The train has just about finished it's westward ascent over the Berkshires and starts to slow for it's final stretch of daylight before crossing the Deerfield River and immediately entering the 4.75 mile-long Hoosac Tunnel.
