As a kid (12 years) I would go on little adventures, on my bike, out to Kanawaki. At the time I lived in NDG. Anyway back in those days (1958) this was a grade crossing at the bottom of a steep hill. I would fly down this hill, no brakes, save my foot, that I would jamb between the fork and tire, hell bent for leather.
