Fallen Flag O&W

The New York, Ontario and Western Railway, the O&W sometimes called the "Old Woman" or "Old and Weary" operated from Weehawken NJ to Oswego NY and all points in between including Scranton PA. O&W operated from 1868 to 1957 when it was forced into bankruptcy in it's entirety. Photographed on a caboose in Essex CT 1987.
