Fallen Flag Illinois Central

Illinois Central Railroad the subject of "Disappearing Railroad Blues" made famous by Arlo Guthrie - about the name-train City of New Orleans. IC can trace it's roots back to 1850, serving Chicago, New Orleans, Mobile and Omaha. By 1998 IC was purchased by Canadian National. Box car photographed in Gardner MA 1988.
