BNSF and Son of BNSF

The lineage of P&W B40-8W leading Pan Am PWBO limestone train at Pine Hill Rd Lancaster on June 7, 2014 is obvious. Some 20 miles away on that same day, PAS 206 (at that time it was the eb auto rack train that today is 28N) led by actual BNSF ES44DC has arrived Gardner. Note that the P&W B40's paint scheme, while not identical to BNSF 7357, may be a match for the mostly obscured trailing unit on 206.

Photographed by John Barlow, June 7, 2014.
