Chuggin' Across The Deerfield River

Pan Am Southern train 28N rolls eastbound across the Deerfield River in the town of Florida, Mass. on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016. The train is led by the NS heritage engine No. 1066 - The New York Central. Getting this shot ended up costing me around $500.00. I had to climb up a steep embankment of rocks to get out of here. I slipped on some snow and tumbled down the embankment all the way back down to the river bank. My camcorder got smashed and landed in the river. My tripod was also damaged. I injured my hand and had bruises on my butt and legs. Luckily I was not seriously injured. The area is very remote and cell phones do not work in this area.
