The third southbound departure from Portland, train 694 is just hitting the 79 mph speed zone on the Scarborough Marsh 10 minutes after leaving the Portland station. The burst of speed will be brief though once they reach the relatively urban landscape in Old Orchard Beach, a few miles ahead.
