P&W BOPW Empty Coal train at Ayer

Back when coal imported via Port of Providence was consumed by PSNH power plant at Bow, P&W and Pan Am teamed up running unit coal trains between Providence and Bow via Ayer and the Worcester main. Here ex-NYS&W B40-8 leads three ex-BNSF B30-7AB cabless engines, and ex-LMX B39-8E pulling empty hopper cars across Sandy Pond Rd crossing at Ayer.
