The Greatest Show on Earth Arrives in Manchester

First views of the The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Train extra that arrived in the yard in Manchester NH on late afternoon on Tuesday 5/3. Leading the extra, on "These New Hampshire Rails" were BM 327 (GP40) and MEC 515 (GP40-2w) with all the rail cars needed to set up the big show, which plays in the Verizon Wireless Arena from May 5th to the 8th. The Animal cars were placed on the end of the train minus the elephants. There were also some new articulated flat cars towards the end of the train.

Passenger coaches were left in Nashua yard, along with a third engine, MEC 505 (GP40-2Lw). The all Big Blue engine trio originally brought the entire train from Ayer to Nashua Yard.

We beat the rains, and heard the action from a Fisher Cats Game going on in the ball park which they lost to the Reading Fighting Phils. Someone hit a HR and we got a game ball, though !
