Big Job At Charlemont - 2

A Pan Am Railways mobile truck crane is seen working at the derailment site at Charlemont, MA on Sunday, May 15, 2016. In this photo the truck is parked directly over the track. Note the steel wheels under the truck which enables it to travel by rail. The derailment occurred on Saturday, May 14, and the track was reopened on May 17th. Pan Am owns a 250-ton wrecking crane (ex-B&M) but they did not use it here. Workers were able to right the engines and cars using a mobile crane and the use of wooden blocks.
