MEC 553 CB-2 leaving Calais, Maine in 1958

Photo taken in Calais, Maine of CB-2 leaving for Bangor with MEC 553 leading plus two more RS-2s. That day CB-2 had work at close to every station arriving Bangor with 53 cars. Engineer Scott E Jones, Fireman Barry Carmichael. Jones would later die in the Calais Bunk Room in 1963 at 72 years of age with 53 years of service to MECRR. Fireman Carmichael died June 28, 1966.
