Lake Shore Limited and Vermonter at Palmer, MA

With CSX doing track work on the main, the Lake Shore Limited had to operate thru the passing track and the southbound Vermonter had to hold on the interchange track until it cleared to open the manual crossovers. The Lake Shore, complete with sleeper, was led by P42DC AMTK 198, followed by heritage unit AMTK 822. The Vermonter was powered by a pre-Big Game Train AMTK 189 (P42DC).
