The NS track geometry train is seen parading eastbound along Zoar Road at Zoar (Charlemont), Mass. on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. The colorful UP unit leading the train was a real treat. Usually the train is powered by a pair of NS SD40-2s. Just seconds before I took this photo a large over-sized pickup drove past me and almost ruined the photo. One of the hazards of trying to photograph trains from alongside the roads.
