Groveton, NH

Groveton Local waiting in the "clear" for the MEC Beecher Falls Local to finish running around it's train and leave town. This was the week that a time study was being conducted with end result of reducing Groveton switchers from two jobs to one. This reduction coincided with the reduction of the White River to Berlin through freights from two round trips per day to one.

Photographed by Bruce Nelson, May 7, 1975.
