Sunday 10/30/16, MBRRE ran a chartered trip from Worcester to the Valley RR in CT. A great day of train travel, though not w/o delays. Sunday included about an hour of waiting for Amtrak trains to clear the corridor at Old Saybrook, CT and then an hour or more waiting for track inspection after a fire & explosion in Norwich, CT. It was a great trip anyway and the P&W people were fantastic as always & so were the Valley RR people. Thanks to All. We arrived back in Worcester about midnight - hoping everyone got safely home! A similar trip was run on Saturday 29th with different delays. This is a pre-trip photo around 7:30 AM at the P&W Headquarters.
