"State of Maine now boarding on Track 7..."

Well not quite. PVs B&M "Salisbury Beach" and UP "Pacific Sands" were sitting in South Station on a summer day in 2009. Apparently "Salisbury Beach" was built by Pullman-Standard in 1954 for B&M to use on the "State of Maine" running between Grand Central Terminal and Portland, ME According to the June '54 Official Guide, the SoM had 3 GCT-Portland sleepers and 1 GCT-Concord, NH sleeper (dropped & picked up at Lowell) plus 2 more summer only GCT-Portland sleepers. "Salisbury Beach" may be for sale: http://www.ozarkmountainrailcar.com/detail.asp?id=1608
