Christmas Eve Surprise at Kingston StationOn weekends regional train 164 and 165 pass thru Kingston Station within minutes of each other. When the Christmas Eve rain stopped I headed for the station. 164 was a few minutes late, so 165 headed west first and the trains passed about a mile west of the station. That made it possible to get this shot fo AMTK 642, the ACS-64 Veterans unit, bring train 164 out of the sunset to its stop at Kingston Station. The unit had been reported in Washington but without a train number so I did not know it was coming until I saw the red around the windshield.
