Night Train At Housatonic, MA

A southbound Housatonic Railroad train is seen chuggin' past the old NYNH&HRR freight house in the village of Housatonic, Mass. The train is led by the HRRC No. 22, an ex-Banger & Aroostook RR GP7u. This particular engine rarely ventures up to the north end of the line so it was a treat to catch it returning from Pittsfield. Normally the HRRC operates with a pair of HRRC GP35s.
