Acela Passing Pond in West Kingston, RI

Acela 2006, operating as train 2158, passes the pond in West Kingston, RI just a few minutes after tran 137 headed west. This view shows that the overhead wire for track one is now supported by the new arch, while the overhead wire for track 2 is still supported by the old freestanding pole. The pole on the track 1 side is already removed to allow continuing preparation for the new track 3, which will tie back into track 1 a short distance west of here at a new CP Liberty (named for Liberty Lane, which used to cross the tracks a bit east of this pond).
