MBTA Plowing After the Snow Storm

Ordinarily, there is no activity on MBTA's Needham Line on Sundays but an exception was made on Feb 10, 2013. There had been a significant snowfall the day before and the T's Needham Heights layover yard, main, and station needed plowing. In upper left, two train sets are parked on the main line so GP40MC led set on the right does the honors of moving off a yard track onto the main at West St (once switches were dug out). 1121 was more than up to the task as it pushed the snow aside. The train was moving too slow to make a photogenic snowbank explosion as it crossed the street.
