BJ-3 on the Northern

B&M trains BJ-3 and JB-4 were the last through freights operating between Boston and White River Junction via Concord and the Northern Division. Northbound BJ-3 rolled north through Boscawen, NH, behind an F3/F7B/RS3 lashup. These trains were discontinued within a few years of this 1969 photo.
