Amtrak Train 163 Passing Future West End of Kingston Track 3

AMTK 668 (ACS-64) leads train 163 west on track 2 past the not-too-distant future end of the new Track 3 at Kingston. A new Liberty Interlocking will be built here and a new crossover built to allow track 2 trains to access track 3 as well. A barricade with the stop facing westbound trains sat on track 1 slightly behind me as I took this photo. Until the catenary for track 2 is moved to the new supports and the old poles, bearing the mileage-based ID numbers, are removed, this is a terribly cluttered location to photograph, unfortunately.
