A Boston & Maine RDC2 lays over on the Maynard Branch track at South Acton as it awaits the next trip back to North Station. The neat depot in the background was sadly destroyed by fire later in the 1970s

You would have loved what I was driving when I took that shot... a 1962 Plymouth Valiant (complete wth mini tail fins!) that I had gotten from an aunt. Wish I had stuck it in a garage somewhere when it quit because it would be an antique today!
