MEC 503 @ Hendrix Wire & Cable in Milford"The Immaculate 503" with three cars were left by Hendrix Wire & Cable along side route 101A in Milford for a good part of the weekend.
The 503's claim to fame, was being part of the historical power lineup that brought the final Circus Train Extra into Nashua, and then to Manchester sandwiched in between Pan Am's perfect pair of FP9's on 4/17.
As you can see this rebuilt GP40-2L(w) got the big external cleaning to match the up with the appearance of Pan Am's perfect looking FP9 sisters.
