Fore River S6

In 1977, the Fore River Railroad replaced the GE centercabs that had powered it since 1941 with a secondhand Alco S6 that it purchased from the Southern Pacific. FR 17 was the first example of this model to work in New England. It's seen switching the Conrail interchange at East Braintree.
