B&M Boston Roundhouse - 1956

I had photographed 3687 in operation but when I visited the East Somerville (Boston) engine terminal in May 1956 only two Pacifics went out with commuter trains and 3687 was dead on one of the radial tracks off the turntable. The P-2-c 4-6-2 was scrapped in September of 1956.

Photographed by Edward Ozog, May, 1956.
