B&M 4-6-2 3673 Departing North Station, Boston

Although the Portland excursion behind 3713 in April 1956 is sometimes considered the last B&M steam trip, commuter trains still had steam for a while longer. On this May 1956 day I only photographed two 4-6-2s on trains but I was still happy. Pacific 3673 was built by Schenectady in 1913 and scrapped in September 1956.

Photographed by Edward Ozog, May, 1956.
