Amtrak Train 685 departs North Station for Brunswick, ME behind AMTK 25 (P42DC) accompanied to the left of the photo by MBTA train 117 to Rockport behind MBTA 2028 (HSP-46) and to the right by MBTA Train 419 to Wachusett behind MBTA 1072 (F40PH-2C) . All 3 trains are scheduled out at 5:00 p.m. and are just about keeping even as they cross the Charles River draw bridges.
