NH/PC high hood

New Haven HH660 0924 somehow survived long enough to work for Penn Central as PC 9411. In fact the old Alco high hood, built in 1940, lasted until 1971. It's seen switching at Southampton Street yard in South Boston.

Photographed by Tom Nelligan, April, 1969.
Added to the photo archive by Tom Nelligan, June 5, 2017.
Railroad: Penn Central.
