BM 1185 S-3 on local I think ??? is headed back to West Cambridge on the Fitchburg Route. This unit was one a few switcher's with cab signals for use between Boston and Ayer. Note cab signal box on walkway just ahead of cab.

Did not 1186 also have the same cab signal configuration at some time? I remember the remains of some kind of box on the walkway just ahead of the cab on the engineer's side.
