East Haven tunnel

The two short rock tunnels at East Haven, CT, are the one stretch of mountain railroading on the Shore Line. A somewhat battered ex-PRR E8 and a repainted mate exit the tunnel with a Boston-bound Penn Central train two years before Amtrak.
