Framingham, MAAmtrak #140 is on the move eastbound to South Station. Here is John Barlow's comment from my previous photo of this train stopped at station: "The car, truck, and pedestrians are crossing the tracks on Concord St (aka Rt 126) where there was a manned set of crossing gates (that lasted until the early '80s) permitting eastbound passenger trains to stop at the station without disrupting the busy,congested street. Just east of Concord St would have been the pair of oblique diamonds where New Haven's Old Colony line crossed the Boston and Albany line. Diamonds were replaced by CP-21 likely around the same timeframe as the manual crossing gates....!" Says it better than I......
