BM 326 (GP40) leads Extra 326 West as it stops at the MBTA platform in Ayer to discharge 3 'passengers' before heading west to Fitchburg. The remainder of the consist was made up of 2 Federal Railroad Administration inspection cars. The train had come cross country from Lowell Jct. on the Haverhill line.
