Amtrak Train 164 on Track 2 at Kingston

AMTK 656 (ACS-64) leads train 164 to its holiday stop in Kingston on Track 2, as passengers start perparing to board the train. Track 2 work was completed in time to run trains normally over the holiday weekend (although the one eastbound Acela I saw Sunday did slow down considerably for the new facing point turnout on track 2 that is part of the new Liberty interlocking). One bit of work that remains incomplete is the transfer of the track 2 overhead wires to the new arches supporting tracks 1 and 3. Since the old poles don't need to be replaced, we may be stuck with both the old and the new poles on the track 2 side west of the station for a while. The only problem they cause is more clutter in photos.
