The sun won't be up for another hour as the northbound Montrealer pauses at White River Junction, changing crews while a few sleepy passengers get on and off. F40PH 205 is on the point.

Years ago this was the train that I would take home from New Haven. My father would meet me at White River Junction at about 5am and we would drive to Plymouth over the Dorchester Road.
