Budd at Lynn

A spring shower is in progress as a southbound Boston & Maine RDC that originated at either Rockport or Ipswich enters the 1952-built Lynn station that has since been replaced. The right-of-way here was wide enough for four tracks after an early 20th century rebuilding, but it never had more than two main tracks.

Photographed by Tom Nelligan, April, 1971.
Added to the photo archive by Tom Nelligan, August 16, 2017.
Railroad: Boston & Maine.
