Eastbound train WR-2 (Worcester to Rigby) passing through Willows Interlocking with BM 1738, 1719, 1728 GP-9's for power. Check out ACFX tank car with "Claremont and Concord Rwy" markings. I doubt this move was to or from the C&C. But at some time this car must have been assigned to C&C service. Anybody know what is was?

Visitor Comments about this Photo:

There are a bunch of photos at a publicly accessible Claremont Concord Railroad Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pg/ClaremontConcordRailroad/photos/?ref=page_internal) that suggest that the customer was Coy Paper Mill receiving fuel oil (but there was also an S&O Oil Co., an Amoco distributor, in Claremont that received tank cars). There's also a slide for sale on eBay showing a pair of CCR tank cars at Rockingham NH with caption indicating they were used to transport oil from Portland to Claremont. Question for you Bruce: what did B&M/GRS officially call this interlocking at Willow Road back before it became CPF-WL?
