MVRR 8

Moshassuck Valley No. 8 is about to cross Mineral Spring Ave. in Pawtucket, RI on its way to the ex-NYNH&H interchange at Woodlawn. No. 8 is a GE 50 ton 300 HP industrial model. The MVRR was only a little longer than a mile but was a very busy railroad when I lived nearby in the 1940s and 1950s. At the time of my photo it was only months away from purchase by the P&W.
