MVRR 8

Moshassuck Valley No. 8 is crossing Weeden St in Pawtucket, RI on the way to the ex-NYNH&H interchange at Woodlawn. I am facing north with the yard at Saylesville in the distance. No. 8 was built in 1950 by GE as a 50 ton 300 HP industrial. In three months the MVRR became part of the P&W. It was not very active at this time which explains the overgrown track behind No. 8. The bridge on the left crosses the Moshassuck River (Blackstone Canal) which the MVRR followed.
