Blizzard of 1978

In the weeks prior to the storm, Boston & Maine GP9 1741 had been assigned to MBTA South Side commuter trains in the company of a leased CN steam generator car. At South Station on the morning things began to melt, it showed the effects of its last inbound run before the commuter system shut down.

Kudos to you for braving the aftermath of the blizzard to record these photos! I'm guessing you relied on public transit to get around Boston?
