New Haven passenger service to Northampton, MA, ended very early, in the late 1920s, but the Canal Line saw many fan trips over the years. One of the last ones ran in May 1968. Here the Budd that originated in New Haven lays over at Northampton station, which hadn't yet been reincarnated as a restaurant.
