Again, thanks for all your pictures of the graffiti-fee old days and your excellent captioning. With regards to this particular picture, I am wondering if you ever got to ride the hack as a passenger when tthis was technically required to be a mixed train that you coyld buy passage aboard from the conductor. I did the same on the Portsmouth-Manchester freight and it was a great memory.
