Mack railbus

Sperry Rail Service detector car 402 began life as one of the ten Mack railbuses acquired by the New Haven RR in the 1950s for branchline passenger runs, only one of which actually ran in revenue service before a management change left them out of favor. Sperry wound up with two of the Macks and converted them into rail test cars. Sperry 402 posed at South Station on a rainy day.
